The skyline of Los Angeles
Well, I have just arrived back in sunny Sydney (well it was for a couple of hours anyway before the rain set in!) – all the way from Los Angeles, California. LA is a sprawling city, going from Venice Beach (where I stayed) & Santa Monica to Hollywood to the mountains & “The Valley”. Visiting LA you can understand it when people comment that it is a bit of a ‘fake’ city. see more & click here..
Looking at the latest health & fitness news from around the world this week, the first thing that caught my eye was the headline “how do you tell someone they’re fat”? as this links in to my last blog “are you a big FAT liar?” about how we actually lie to ourselves about our weight/health issues. So how do you tell someone this and should you do it?. Well, after 30 long hours in a plane and airports I finally arrived at London’s Heathrow airport, hopped on the Paddington express and in no time was in the centre of London – easy! I got over my jet lag pretty quickly and soon settled in – to thunder and rain…typical!!
