Of course if you only currently weigh 80 or 90kg’s I wouldn’t actually recommend losing 100… you’d literally disappear - but I have to say a huge congratulations to Margot Brunswick, from Perth Australia on her amazing achievement of losing 104kgs – that’s more than half her body weight! The incredible thing is that she didn’t go on strenuous bootcamps, working out up to six hours a day or restrict her calorie intake so that she would lose weight rapidly (and most probably put it straight back on) – Margot simply replaced a snack and a meal with IsoWhey Complete.
Margot had gradually been putting on weight over the years and
had tried different ways to lose it – knowing how bad it was for her health and that her lifestyle was obviously being severely restricted as she built up to a staggering 190kgs! She had literally given up hope – that’s when she heard about IsoWhey – she tried it, and after 3 weeks or so she say’s she felt a change – she felt “more quirky” – she had more energy, was losing the sugar cravings which had caused so much of her weight gain and was able to move more – so she started walking…and walking. That was 4 years ago and she is STILL losing weight. She feels better about herself and as she says can now fit into a plane seat “without the extended seat belt“!
‘Inspiration‘ is a word which really does describe Margot – if you are where she was not so long ago, think about what she has achieved and realise that anyone can do it – they really can – it may not be easy, but with the right mindset you can achieve your goals. Margot is still on her weight loss journey, but she now has her lifestyle back – so it is so much easier – she can go shopping, buy a whole new type of wardrobe which in itself makes her feel good and she isn’t embarrassed to walk down the street anymore, she even has a spring in her step!
And Margot is not alone, Ellen Sheard has a similar story – she has lost over 50kg’s,
again using IsoWhey which she found by chance, she gave it a go replacing a couple of meals a day, and saw results within a couple of weeks which gave her the motivation to carry on. Ellen also has a new lease on life and still uses IsoWhey on the maintenance program, once a day and still loves it!
LIFESTYLE is the key word here though. Putting on weight is pretty easy, losing it is harder. In order to lose it and keep it off you HAVE to make lifestyle changes. It’s important to note that when on programs such as IsoWhey, you need to eat healthily around the program, this is, plenty of protein, vegies, adding fruit, especially berries to your shakes and keeping well hydrated also cut out the sugar and of course exercising.
Like Margot, if you’re larger, walking is the best way to start and progress from there. Be aware of your calorie intake and also energy expenditure – get this balance right and you WILL see results. De-stress (with Yoga?) and sleep well – all these things contribute. There are so many different and fun ways you can exercise, many of which I have talked about in my blogs. Find what works for you and enjoy it and KEEP doing it, once you start to see results you won’t want to go back!
